If I click on the Malsarebyts icon, the appropriate window appears, but not exactly where it should.  It occupies the lower righthand quarter of the monitor screen, where I see the upper left hand corner of the mb page.  Since control buttons are in the upper right-hand corner, I have no access to them and can do nothing to get the mb window to align properly.

We asked you to provide logs from the support log last year when you posted about your  last issue and you never did.

Please this time...

Can you please collect and upload as an attachment the diagnostic data using our MBST?

  • Download and run the Malwarebytes Support Tool
  • Accept the EULA and click Advanced tab on the left (not Start Repair)
  • Click the Gather Logs button, and once it completes, attach the zip file it creates on your desktop to your next reply

Hello @oldtimer

I'm not sure this will help but it looks like there may be some issues with your installation. Can you please follow the guide here to do a clean removal and reinstall of the program.

Then restart the computer one more time once done and let us know if it's improved or not.

Uninstall and reinstall Malwarebytes using the Malwarebytes Support Tool

Thank you

Doesn't make any difference.

Years ago I had this problem with a download program, I don't recall which one, and it turned out to be a matter of compatibility of versions of the program with the version of the browser? of Windows?  I don't remember that either.
