Malware bytes suddenly started to qurantine Visual Studio .exe files

Suddenly, this morning I no longer could debug or run .exe files that are compiled with Visual Studio. Took me a while to figure out what the issue was (reinstalled VS etc etc) but eventually found that Malwarebytes immediately quarantines a .exe file that is generated by VS. This didn't happen yesterday. I can exclude the directory where my projects are, but rather not do that. What is suddenly causing this? I wasted a lot of time the AM to figure out what the problem was. Thank you

That would be the recommendation.
