False Positive CargoWiz

I offer an involved software written in vb6 and have for 15 years without security issues. Sometime this morning MB started treating the trial download.exe from our site as malicious.

No one can use my current trial. (But if I put up the older version there is not false detection). We made no significant change in this new version, just fixed a typo in a variable name used widely, and remarked some code.

This has brought my business  and sole source of income to a halt. Please help!

The website has not been blocked although I see that the log says it was and it is an old 5/13/19 date. I will try to redo the log report. maybe I missed something.

The file gets blocked when the .exe is executed.

I have delete the log which was something very old.

When I download the setup file and install CargoWiz.exe and (support files) I find that Cargowiz.exe is indeed where it belongs, in Program Files(x86).

I then force a scan, which finds no problems.

I run the file and program runs fine and has the correct version.

Then I reboot the PC

Then I run the exe via the shortcut to it.

The Malware detected window pops up and my program does not run

I look for my CargoWiz.exe in the  Program Files(x86). and it is Gone!

Scan again produces nothing found, which is why I removed the misleading old log file.

What could it be?
