Android/PUP.Risktool.CallPay.IO

Recommended Posts

When scanning my phone tonight, MalwareBytes found 102 instances of Risktool.CallPay.IO.

I can't find any information on it, but the PUP seems to be associated with a bunch of legitimate programs, as can be seen in the image below. When I try to clean it, it says I need to uninstall the entire program, but does this mean I will have to uninstall all 102 programs, or is there a simpler way to remove it? If there is just 1 file associated with the malware somewhere, can I just delete that?

Thank you very much for any help.

The issue is resolved now. Updated malware db is now live. v2020.08.14.02.
Please do a manual database update, Hamburger thingy in upper left > Settings > Other > Force Update.
