Recommended Posts

I need help i want to completely remove malwarebytes and have nothing to do with them after this i was going to buy the premium version as i''ve had for many years now and now all of of sudden i use malwarebytes to scan for a few malware that was installed possibly by my kids and now after i quarantine them my audio driver is completely gone.... my audio driver is out of my monitor and is hooked to speakers from the back of my monitor so theirs not really a reinstall my audio driver.... This is complete bs i work from home and now i have no audio at all how does a multi-million dollar company confuse malware or viruses with audio drivers that beyond boggles my mind......

Hello @darkamp

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with the program. I can certainly help you to remove the program but restoring your audio would  probably be more helpful for you I'd think and best we don't remove the program until we get it working.

Can you please post the recent scan log from the detection and removal. Let me know if you need help on locating the log.

Thank you

I don't see any type of audio driver listed in that log. I'm checking with our Research team to see why we did quarantine the items. One looks like it might be a false positive but that should have nothing to do with your audio.

A bit more work but if you can get me the following log perhaps we can track down further what might be going on as the current log shows nothing to do with audio

Upload Malwarebytes Support Tool logs offline

Thank you again

Are you sure that all audio is not working or just in the MapleLegends game?

The uTorrent program does not look to be the legit program either. Or at least is has a bunch of PUP (Possibly Unwanted Program) offers in it so if one opts out it may not install them.

Have you tried restarting the computer?
