Trouble installing mb.exe 4.1.1.172

Im trying to install mb on a windows 7 os, but am unable. We have found a rootkit installed on my computer and am unable to connect to the internet. Iv followed the steps for installation with no internet, and it says unable to connect to this service. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Can you please try this:

1. Download the offline installer from : https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb4_offline

2. Boot into Safe mode with networking.

3. Run the installer. Do  a manual update.

Run a scan with rootkit scanning enabled. Clean what it finds and restart.
