Virus scanning on a standalone system

Greetings and welcome,

I believe that Malwarebytes Breach Remediation should be the best solution for scanning offline with up to date threat signatures.  It is a portable build which can optionally be updated prior to copying it over to the endpoint where it is to be used as detailed in this support article.  That said, it obviously won't be able to utilize any cloud components of the scan when used offline, however the majority of threats should still be covered as the cloud components are primarily used for the Machine Learning and AI components of the scan engine; it still has its full threat signatures and built in heuristics.

The following business products include Malwarebytes Breach Remediation:

Malwarebytes Incident Response
Malwarebytes Endpoint Protection
Malwarebytes Endpoint Detection and Response

Additionally, if you are a PC repair tech, you might be interested in the Malwarebytes Techbench program.  It too includes a portable build of Malwarebytes (and several other tools exclusive to Techbench partners) which is part of the Malwarebytes Toolset which includes multiple portable tools, all of which can be used offline.

If your business is a PC repair shop and you're interested in Techbench, Basic tier membership is free and includes a 15-day trial of the Malwarebytes Toolset and if you want to have full access to the toolset you may sign up for the Advanced tier for a cost and you get numerous additional benefits as detailed in the link above.

I hope this helps, and please let us know if there is anything else we might assist with.

Thanks
