yael Posted July 7, 2020 ID:1392781 Share Posted July 7, 2020 Hello! I am on my Mac and I am reviewing the installations on System Info and I see two dates that call my attention, on May 4 2020 and April 13 2020, I didn't installed Malwarebytes on those dates and it's reported as if I had when I didn't. I first installed Malwarebytes on March 12, 2020 and on May 18, 2020 but not on this previously mentioned dates. Why is it reported this way?
exile360 Posted July 7, 2020 ID:1392812 Share Posted July 7, 2020 Greetings, It may be reporting application updates which were downloaded/installed automatically in the background, assuming the Mac OS version updates the same way the Windows version does. alvarnell Posted July 8, 2020 ID:1392823 Share Posted July 8, 2020 @exile360 is correct, in that the macOS version will automatically update in the background when a new version becomes available. You can see the dates of release for all versions of Malwarebytes at https://support.malwarebytes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038521514-Malwarebytes-for-Mac-Product-Lifecycle
