I can't reproduce. There was an update within MalwareBytes to mitigate this false positive issue. Make sure you have 4.1.2 installed.

Thanks that solved it!

With 4.1.2 I now get the message "Items in Quarantine no longer pose a threat"

NordVPNsetup.exe has shown up in my Quarantined items as well.  I have been paying for NordVPN for several years now and do not recall ever having this problem before.

 

I am attaching 3 related screenshots :

1. Showing I am using 4.2.3.96 version of Malwarebytes (although that may not have been the version when the scan detected the "potential" malware)
2. Showing NordVPNSetup.exe detected
3. Showing history - NOTE:  When I attempt to view, download or delete as shown available to the right of RTP detection ....  when I move my cursor to attempt to preview, download or delete, the row is no longer highlighted and the icons to do so disappear.

Is there really an issue with the NordVPNSetup.exe?  I am running NordVPN on my laptop.
