dfunk Posted July 1, 2020 ID:1391458 Share Posted July 1, 2020 Hello - I need some help removing CapitaSearch. I was able to research, figure out how to remove it from Chrome and reset the browser. I bought Wipersoft. Run it every day, it detects it, removes it, run it again and it's clean, but the next day, there it is again. I then downloaded Malwarebytes and ran it. It also detected it and "removed it", but again it's back the next day. So I downloaded FRST...but I just don't know what files to look for to add to the FixList. Dan You are welcome. Yes it is an elusive step to track down and a very common issue because of sync in browsers. Google is the most prolific with the issue.
