Suggestion for stickied "Please read before reporting...'

I attempted to follow the instructions provided here:

• Click the Start Menu.
• Click Run.
• Type in "mbam.exe /developer", without the quotes.
• Run the same type of scan you did before and save the logfile and post it.

This did not work as described.

Quote

C:\Users\Main>mbam.exe /developer
'mbam.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

I had to changed to the following directory, and then run the command:

C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-Malware>mbam.exe /developer

This was for an older version of Malwarebytes. Instructions for newer versions of Malwarebytes are there as well.

It just needs an update for the MB4 version, which will be added soon.

Thank you for clarifying. It was not clear to me that those were instructions for different versions. They looked to me like instructions I would follow in order, which I was attempting to do. Is there a better forum for Web Feedback?
