I noticed the same on my system.  Please try closing and reopening the main Malwarebytes UI and see if it now shows as enabled and let us know.  It appears the UI isn't updating as it should when the setting is changed so it appears that the setting is not changing states when clicked.

This issue will be reported to the Product team.

In case the issue might be a system-specific bug, please do the following for the sake of the Developers:

  1. Download and run the Malwarebytes Support Tool
  2. Accept the EULA and click Advanced tab on the left (not Start Repair)
  3. Click the Gather Logs button, and once it completes, attach the zip file it creates on your desktop to your next reply
