A few days ago, I installed this recommended app via Google Play.  The following day, an email was sent by the developers to another one of my email accounts - not the one I use for Google Play.

I sent them a message asking how this happened, I got this reply:
"I honestly don't know how that would be possible unless you had set up some kind of email forwarding. Merlin sends the confirmation email to the address you give it."

Any ideas?

If you have your other email set up as an alternate on your Google account it's possible that an email was sent to both of them, but ended up in the spam filter of your primary. Other than that I got no idea, but it's an interesting glitch
