Malwarebytes won't open and Chameleon uninstalls itself

Recommended Posts

Run FRST one more time, ensure all boxes are checkmarked under "Whitelist" but only Addition.txt under "Optional scan" Select scan, when done post the new logs. "FRST.txt" and "Addition.txt"

thanks.....

Hello Keyenpeydee,

What is the current status of your system, does it work as it should. What is the status of Avast, does it work as it should, same goes for Malwarebytes...

Thank you,

Kevin...

Hello,

I think everything works fine. I can open Malwarebytes unlike before and Avast is also working as far as I know.

Hello Keyenpeydee,

Thanks for the update on your system, unless you have anymore issues we can clean up...

Right click on FRST here: C:\Users\Nishad\Downloads\FRST64.exe and rename uninstall.exe when complete right click on uninstall.exe and select "Run as Administrator"

If you do not see the .exe appended that is because file extensions are hidden, in that case just rename FRST64 to uninstall

That action will remove FRST and all created files and folders...

Create clean fresh Restore Point: http://www.thewindowsclub.com/create-system-restore-point

Run Windows Disk Clean Up Utility - https://neosmart.net/wiki/disk-cleanup/

From there you should be good to go...

Is everything you provided safe?

I'm afraid I'm gonna mess things up and I'll accidentally delete all my files lol

Hello, I can't follow the instructions about removing all system restore points.

Do I click delete? This won't affect my whole files right?

Yes, just press delete. That will remove all restore points but will not affect anything else..
