If you know what the term 'form factor' means, you might be a tech geek.

If you use the terms 'CPU', 'GPU', 'RAM' and 'megahertz' more often than the word 'engine', you might be a tech geek.

If you buy a computer to improve your frame rate, you might be a tech geek.

If you know what the phrase 'frame rate' means, you might be a tech geek.

If the first thing you think of when you hear the word 'glide' is an API developed by 3dfx, you might be a tech geek.

If the first thing you think of when you hear the word 'Voodoo' is a graphics card from 3dfx, you might be a tech geek.

If you know who 3dfx was, you might be a tech geek.

If you know what 'SLI' is, you might be a tech geek (bonus points if you also know what 'Crossfire' refers to ;))

If an FPS is the first thing you think of when you hear the word 'doom', you might be a tech geek.

If an FPS is the first thing you think of when you hear the word 'quake', you might be a tech geek.

If an FPS is the first thing you think of when you hear the word 'unreal', you might be a tech geek.

If an FPS is the first thing you think of when you hear the word 'fear', you might be a tech geek.

If an FPS is the first thing you think of when you hear the term 'half-life', you might be a tech geek.

If you know what an FPS is, you might be a tech geek.

If an MMORPG is the first thing you think of when you hear the word 'wow', you might be a tech geek.

If you know what an MMORPG is, you might be a tech geek.

If the first thing you do when your computer needs an upgrade is grab your screwdriver, you might be a tech geek.

If NOBODY except you touches your machine EVER, you might be a tech geek.

If you have broken your operating system trying to 'tweak' it, you might be a tech geek.

If Steam is one of the first things you install when setting up a new system, you might be a tech geek.

If you already know what the specs of the upcoming PS5 and XBOX Series X will be, you might be a tech geek.

If you know what the name 'Navi' refers to, you might be a tech geek (Note: if you thought it was the fairy from Ocarina of Time and not the current AMD GPU architecture then you still might be a tech geek)

If you have broken your operating system trying to 'tweak' it, you might be a tech geek.

- now tweaking this forum.
