Submit a post using the forum's API

Recommended Posts

Hello

I wanted to know if there's a possibility to allow users to leverage the forum's API to submit topics?
More context:

We have an internal system (SIEM like) that allows us to activate MBBR to clean detected threats on given endpoints.
When MBBR doesn't detect a malware that is detected by many other vendors on VT, we usually report it manually and get a response after some time.

We would like to be able to submit these undetected samples from our system, using a simple button.
We already have the sample hash, VT link, etc. in the system, and that's why it would be way easier for us.

Technically, according to the documentation below, it seems like it's very doable:

Thoughts?

Greetings,

Thank you for the suggestion, I will be sure to pass it on to the Product team for consideration.  I do not know if the forum software currently provides access to such APIs/functions, but I suspect they may be disabled to prevent automated/scripted posting by spam bots and the like if it does.
