mbamswissarmy.sys is corrupt and cannot boot into Windows

Recommended Posts

I downloaded the tool to flashdrive and went to command prompt at boot up but on execution at command prompt, got the error message: "The subsystem needed to support the image type is not present". This means I have to be running in windows to use this tool.

Is the FRST.Txt not useful to assist me?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Hi @AndreB

Please save FRST64.EXE and this FIXLIST.TXT file to the USB disk. Enter the Recovery Environment and command prompt

Run FRST64 and press the Fix button just once and wait.

The tool will make a log on the flash drive (Fixlog.txt) please post it in your reply.

fixlist.txt

Reboot the computer into Normal Mode and let me know how that goes
