My wifi cuts out

Recommended Posts

Greetings,

Are you having problems with Malwarebytes, or is this issue unrelated to Malwarebytes' software?  I ask because this is the support area for Malwarebytes for Windows, however if the issue is unrelated to Malwarebytes then please create a new topic in our general PC help area to seek assistance with your system by clicking here and someone should be able to assist you in getting your system working properly.

If the problem is being caused by Malwarebytes Premium then please do the following so that we may take a closer look at your Malwarebytes installation to try and determine what might be causing the issue:

  1. Download and run the Malwarebytes Support Tool
  2. Accept the EULA and click Advanced tab on the left (not Start Repair)
  3. Click the Gather Logs button, and once it completes, attach the zip file it creates on your desktop to your next reply

Thanks

Greetings,

Were you asked to run FRST by someone?  I ask because it is not a general repair tool for use by untrained users and could harm your system if used improperly for fixing anything (if it is just being used to generate a report to post on the forums to receive assistance then it is fine, and you should be able to run it per the instructions in this topic, though please keep in mind that we do not analyze FRST logs in this area either and its use is generally restricted to the malware removal area and if you need to seek assistance there, then please read and follow the instructions in this topic then create a new topic in our malware removal area by clicking here and one of our malware removal specialists will assist you in checking and cleaning the system of any threats which will hopefully correct the wi-fi issue you are experiencing, assuming the system is infected).

You can also try resetting your router and see if that is the issue if this affects more than one device

Please review the following website and read it before continuing and then do a Hard Reset back to Factory Defaults for your router.
This information is only for resetting the router DO NOT erase, install, or update the firmware, just reset your router to factory defaults. Read the articles. If your device is not listed then don't make any changes. If they tell you not to do something on your specific model then don't do it. Only do as told for your specific model.
