Uninstall and reinstall using the Malwarebytes Support Tool

<<<>>>

If the problem is not solved run the program and post the logs for my review.

Download the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST).
Choose the 32 or 64 bit version for your system.
and save it to a folder on your computer's Desktop.
Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
Press Scan button.
It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please copy and paste it to your reply.
The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt). Please attach it to your reply.

How to attach a file:
In the Reply section in the bottom of the topic Select Click the Choose a File.
Navigate to the location of the File.
Click the file. It will appear in section.
Click the Saving button.

Please attach the logs for my review.

Wait for further instructions

Hello @kimo6751

There is no malware from our installer. The following link is for our Malwarebytes Support Tool  http://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mbst

How to use the tool is listed in this KB article

https://support.malwarebytes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039023473-Uninstall-and-reinstall-using-the-Malwarebytes-Support-Tool

Using this tool you can remove the current state of the installer. When asked if you want to reinstall decline that installer and download this full installer instead.

MB4 Offline Installer

If you do continue to have issues let us know though and we'll more than happy to assist you.

Thank you

This is a False Positive and we have contacted the vendor to get it de-listed

If you like you can also download our full installer instead of the web installer.
