malwarebytes causing computer to run slow

Recommended Posts

Okay, right click and over the Malwarebytes tray icon and exit out of Malwarebytes.

Do you get an alert from Windows Defender?

Good. Now reboot or turn Malwarebytes back on.

That is what you wanted isn't it? To turn off Windows Defender and only use Malwarebytes ?

Okay then, sorry about that.

Please open Malwarebytes, click on the small gear icon on the top right. Then select the General tab and scroll down and enable the Beta updates. Then check for updates and let it update and then reboot.

After the reboot if still having any slow down issue please be more specific as to what is slow

Thank you
