After MBAM scan VPN/Network stop work as well as Adobe Acrobat

After the upgrade to 4.0.3 my network activities would get slower and eventually was not able to VPN after a scan.  In addition Adobe Acrobat would not load.  It started in Task Manager but would not show in Foreground.  I did all sorts of network resets and various netsh commands.  The only thing that would resolve the issue was restart.  Everything was fine until the scan started/finished.  Un-installed product and not had any issues since.

  1. Download Malwarebytes Support Tool
  2. Once the file is downloaded, open your Downloads folder/location of the downloaded file
  3. Double-click mb-support-X.X.X.XXXX.exe to run the program
    • You may be prompted by User Account Control (UAC) to allow changes to be made to your computer. Click Yes to consent.
  4. Place a checkmark next to Accept License Agreement and click Next
  5. You will be presented with a page stating, "Get Started!"
  6. Click the Advanced tab on the left column

  7. Click the Gather Logs button

  8. A progress bar will appear and the program will proceed with getting logs from your computer

  9. Upon completion, a file named mbst-grab-results.zip will be found on your Desktop. Click OK

Hello and Welcome!

First off, 4.0.3 is not the latest version. Latest Version is 4.1.0.56 CU 1.0.860.  I suggest you update to the latest version to see if that corrects your issues.  If it does not then we will need the requested logs from above...

Hello and Thanks for the reply.  I clicked on Check for Updates before uninstalling but software said it had the latest version.  How do I download the newest version without the dependency of the re-installing the newest version?  Is that what I will get if I click on Download?  BTW, I am a premium subscriber.

There are 2 different installers.

One is just a "stub" that installs the current non beta version. https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/thankyou/

And the offline installer that installs 4.1.0.56 CU 1.0.845 and then you update from there. https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb4_offline

4.1.0 860 is a beta that has no real noticeable fixes.

I would try either.

And if you have issues again we need the following.

We need to get information from this machine in order to have the proper detail to help you forward.
