MachineLearning/Anomalous.100% for a ZIP file containing software I created

Hello,

I just did my first scan on my computer. Malwarebytes detected 2 pieces of malware with the name "MachineLearning/Anomalous.100%". The files it is detecting were ZIP folders for a college project submission of mine four years ago written in the .NET framework in Visual Basic. These files were literally submitted to my teacher, so I am unsure if this is a false positive or if I actually have malware in these folers? I have attached the scan results, as well as the ZIP folders that Malwarebytes detected as malware.

Thank you.

I have asked staff to move your post to the correct section. You do not need to repost or anything else unless asked.

It seems like it hasn’t been moved. Should I just repost myself at this point?

It is the weekend. Might be till Monday. I have not seen any of the staff that handles this online much since Friday.

Remember we all coping with lock-downs as well.

This should no longer be detected. This was a false positive.

Thanks for reporting.

This might be a dumb question, but if these were my only two malware detections, my computer is effectively safe, correct? I guess the scripting files in this zip are what set off the detection alarm by default?

The heuristics were triggered. It happens with VB files sometimes.

It is more explained in the link I posted in my first post in this topic.

Glad things are fixed for now. Be safe.
