SCFA_Updater -- False Positive

Recommended Posts

This is the second submission.  My last post was replied to as 'fixed' but almost a week later after updates it still is flagging the program as malware.  Please help!

Recently MalwareBytes updated, and now it's detecting the attached program 'SCFA_Updater.exe' as malware.  I know this is not malware, as I wrote the program in AutoIt.  I've attached the report file from MalwareBytes, the executable, and the source code.  I use this program to distribute updates for a game (Supreme Commander) that I'm involved with.  Please fix the false positive detection.

Thanks!

Hi,

It is on detected on my end. Exit MalwareBytes and then delete the following file from your system:
C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\MBAMService\HubbleCache

Start MalwareBytes again and scan the file.

That worked, thanks for the help!

Will others also need to delete this cache file manually, or will the cache file over time refresh and delete the entry?
