Please try the current beta to see if it helps.

You can install it by enabling the option for beta updates near the bottom of the General tab found under settings which you can access by clicking the small gear icon in the upper right area of the main Malwarebytes UI.  Once enabled, scroll back near the top of the same tab and click the Check for updates button and allow it to download and install the new update, then restart your system, remove the exclusion you created and test to see if the issue is resolved.

Hello @Khaled1323

You mentioned that the pc has Kaspersky Total Security.

We have investigated this issue and believe we have a fix that addresses the root cause. The fix is now available in the latest version of the standalone Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware Beta.

We plan to make this available for Malwarebytes version 4 in an upcoming release. An announcement will be made on the forum once an update for this issue is released.

Thank you for your continued feedback and understanding.

As always, you should monitor the top pinned posts at the top of this sub-forum for future new releases of Malwarebytes 4
https://forums.malwarebytes.com/forum/41-malwarebytes-for-windows-support-forum/

Do stay on the Malwarebytes Beta.   That way you will get prompted for all future MB4 Beta updates.   The prospective fix for Kaspersky is not yet out  in MB4.

You can wait for that to be announced on the forum, or to show up in a future Beta.

You may also, at your option,  just turn off the Ransomware protection in MB4  and then install the Anti-ransomware Beta  from this link

Once after  the MB4 fix is out, you would uninstall the Antiransomware Beta.

  Hi,

This should be of interest to all who have both Kaspersky 2020  and Malwarebytes 4 Premium

There is a new Malwarebytes Beta 4.1.0.56 version 1.0.853 component package update that addresses a few issues.  Those include

Certain Ransomware protection incompatibilities with Kaspersky, iTunes and Photoshop

See the announcement here https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/257042-malwarebytes-41-beta/?do=findComment&comment=1367093

If your Malwarebytes 4 program is already enabled to Beta option, a number of you will be prompted to get the update.

If your pc does not have 1.0.853 component package update, and are in the Beta, you can just go to the General tab and do a "Check for updates"

If you need to turn on the Beta option, go to Settings >> General tab, scroll down to Beta Updates and enable it.

If you elect to not get the beta, monitor the top pinned notes for future announcement of release

https://forums.malwarebytes.com/forum/41-malwarebytes-for-windows-support-forum/

You can easily check the details of your MB4 installation by going to Settings >  About tab

NOTE:  IF you currently have the standalone Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware Beta, you will want to uninstall that first & do a Windows Restart & then get the BETA  MB4.
