Custom scan freezes and BSODs

I recently purchased a Premium license and tried to perform a custom scan with the attached image's settings
The scan renders my computer completely unusable then it hits the 19K to 48K processed files (I've experienced freezing at various numbers between these values). The mouse still works but I can't click anything, there is no feedback, no shortcuts work and I can't even Ctrl+Alt+Delete. I can't cancel the scan.
I've tried leaving the scan overnight once, but 9 hours in, I walked into a BSOD, SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION.
I've tried to scan in safe mode, but the issue still persisted.

Please, help me.

If you can please print this topic it will make it easier for you to follow the instructions and complete all of the necessary steps in the order listed.

Your logs are clean of malware.


If you still have a problem running Malwarebytes I suggest your Remove it.

Follow the instructions on this page.
Uninstall and reinstall using the Malwarebytes Support Tool

Restart the computer when completed.

If the problem persists start a new topic in the Support Forum.
