Windows Defender antimalware still active in Taskmanager

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to figure out why any Windows defender processes would be active in Taskmanager. When I open another program it activates some of the CPU utilization, so I can only think there is a conflict of some kind there. I don't want windows defender active at all, that's why I have malwarebytes, correct?

I already checked and Windows Security Center is disabled inside the settings of Malwarebytes, so I don't understand why it is still active in Task Manager?

Please help?
