Somebody's Watching Me!

There is a saying that it's not paranoia if they really are out to get you, and that is even more accurate in the case of those concerned about privacy when using electronic devices, especially online.  The net is a veritable spider's web of virtual spies all tracking, monitoring and following everything we say, do, view, buy and click online.  In a recent report, the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), a well known non-profit privacy advocacy group, documents just how bad things have gotten on the modern web and details why now more than ever users need to be legitimately concerned with their privacy and to take an active role in protecting it rather than simply clicking 'allow' and 'OK' to everything and using browsers and software that don't have their privacy in mind as a priority (or perhaps seek to actively exploit their data in the case of certain vendors).

You can learn more and read the report linked in this article.
