ugyplysh.com -- how to get rid of links to it

Recommended Posts

I regularly get website blocked messages for ugyplysh.com (and a couple of others).   The alerts indicate that the link emanated from google.exe which suggests that chrome is rendering a page that attempts to linkto ugyplysh.com.  I'd like to stop receiving the messages but I don't want to add ugyplysh.com to the list of exceptions.   Any ideas?

I don't believe I'm infected as Malwarebytes blocks muliple attempts to link to ugyplysh.com, jucysh.com, and lulachu.com.   Also Windows Defender blocks Farbar.    All of the blocked websites show the attempts originated from google.exe.  I tried deleting and reinstalling chrome but that didn't make any difference.   I haven't dug into this very far but I think Firefox has the same kind of issue.

We would not ask you to run anything unsafe.

I did run Fabar and there were no Fix list.   There haven't been any ugyplysh.com events for a while but jucysh.com and lulachu.com are now getting blocked by Malwarebytes.   Any ideas on how to deal with these.   If Malwarebytes knows to block them, shouldn't there be a way to stop what ever is trying to access them?

Thanks,

BBerkov

There is but it has to be done by trained helpers in the other forum section. https://forums.malwarebytes.com/forum/7-windows-malware-removal-help-support/

Start a topic in that section and include the logs you posted here. We are not allowed to work on infection issues in this general section of the forums.
