Cannot uninstall MBAM 4

Recommended Posts

I've had some issues since upgrading, mainly the fact that MBAM doesn't always load when I log onto Windows and when it does I cannot open Chrome. Anyway, I've decided to do a clean install but the uninstaller is stuck and has been for many minutes. No hard drive light, no sign of life. What do I do? If I restart the PC whilst it's apparently uninstalling, will I screw up something?

I managed to end the task in Task Manager for the uninstaller, and ran the MBAM Cleanup Tool. I had to reboot for the process to complete. I've tried to install MBAM v3 but as soon as I start the install, it creates a cleanup text file on the desktop and asks me to reboot to continue the install. I am now unable to install MBAM v3. Does anyone have any suggestions please?
