Norton Security and Malwarebytes Premium possible conflict

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm running Nortons Security and Malwarebytes Premium.
Norton reports many blockings of Malwarebytes, setting up exclusions in Malwarebytes has not had any effect and I have progressively added multiple exclusions exe files then folders.

The image shows my exclusions set up and one of the many reports by Norton.

Any suggestions?

Hi @Kevin100,

Thanks for the report.

This is a benign alert from Norton and doesn't impact any functionality in either product.

With that said, we have addressed the underlying cause of this behaviour. The change for this will be in the upcoming Malwarebytes version 4 release. Until this is released, the warnings can be safely ignored.
