Malwarebytes beta has crashed wont work or uninstall

Recommended Posts

Greetings,

Please try the following to see if it resolves the issue:

  1. Download and run the Malwarebytes Support Tool
  2. Accept the EULA and click Advanced tab on the left (not Start Repair)
  3. Click the Clean button, and allow it to restart your system and then reinstall Malwarebytes, either by allowing the tool to do so when it offers to on restart, or by downloading and installing the latest release version from here or by reinstalling the beta version if that is what you are using currently and would prefer

Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks

Thanks, The Malwarebytes Support Tool  went straight into Repair.  It successfully Uninstalled the corrupted version.  rebooted the computer, reinstalled the version i had before trying the beta, and started it back up.   I made a sucessfull complete scan .  for now i am happy.  I have my full coverage back (that's what i paid for!)

Excellent, I'm glad you were able to resolve the issue.  If you want to try the beta again, you should be able to install it over the top of your existing version without any issues, and if you have any further trouble or need assistance with anything just let us know.

Thanks
