When I disable it everything is back to normal. Using the most recent version of Chrome. Have Malwarebytes Premium 3.8.3 installed which hopefully does the job anyway. Link to post

Actually I'd suggest not using Chrome but if you're going to then try cleaning it and let us know if that helps.
