false positive report

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am the author of the freeware program A Ruler for Windows - which you can download from here: https://www.arulerforwindows.com

While I myself do not use malwarebytes I have had a report from one of my clients who is using Malwarebytes Browser Guard extension ver.2.0.2 that they are getting a false positive on my website / program.

Of note, neither is showing up clean on virustotal.com

I have attached the screenshot that they have shared with me.

Can you please correct your database and let me know when done.

With thanks,

Rob

Thank you, I followed-up with the person that reported this problem to me, he says Malwarebytes is no longer reporting the false positive.  Thank you for your time.
