Hey Phone Man

I see in the Malwarebytes Browser Guard User Guide.pdf that says "The Settings screen allows you to change settings for all websites that you will visit in your browser. These settings do not  apply to private or incognito windows." Seems like maybe this new Browser Guard doesn't work in private or incognito windows, if you use private windows that may be why you're not seeing the hits. Also if true, since all I ever use is private windows, kind of makes this new version useless to me and I'll also stick with the old one. That one for sure works in private windows, can anyone confirm if this is the case?

First of all not sure why I was taken me out of the forum I was replying to because it was in reply to Phone Man which may have had relivance to his wondering about the hit count being missing in firefox with Browser Guard. Second I thought I was in the firefox forum not chrome since I followed the links in the firefox browser extension forum that led me there.

So is it the same in firefox that I can keep it enabled in private browsing mode?

Sorry this new Bowser Guard location is a bit confusing from where the beta extension for firefox and chrome was. I followed the link from https://forums.malwarebytes.com/forum/70-beta-testing-program/ in the Malwarebytes for Firefox section that led me to here https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/250985-is-the-extension-for-firefox-out-of-date/. This is where I answered Phone Man then my post was moved here. Did I somehow end up in the wrong forum? Also the section in the pdf about this setting not applying to private browsing mode is confusing, I got this from support.mlwarebytes.com.

My bad. I should of been in the Chrome forum.

Using Edge Beta the extension did not work after an update from old version. I had to do a clean install to get it working.

I was NOT in a InPrivate window.

I tried an InPrivate window and it  prevents extensions from working although they are still on.

I had to turn on the InPrivate option on each of my extensions and now they work.
