Allow regular Admin to edit whitelists

Recommended Posts

Hi,

We have a model where we allow users to be admins for their own endpoints if they wish. For each user who requests this, I create a separate group and assign their endpoints to that group. I then make the user an Admin and assign them the respective group.

Unfortunately, it seems that Admin cannot edit whitelists, which would be the primary use case in this model. I created a separate policy (which is not global), but still Admins cannot edit the whitelist associated to it.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a known limitation?

@exile360 thanks for your reply!

I have created a separate policy that is only apply to a group that the user is administrator of. I then created an exclusion tied to that policy. The user (Admin) can see it, but not edit it or create new exclusions.
