framboos56 Posted September 18, 2009 ID:128969 Share Posted September 18, 2009 I have Malwarebytes installed on my home computer AND on my laptop.On my laptop, I can disable Ip protection, and when I do a restart,the Ip protection stays disabled.But ....When I disable ip protection on my home computer, it stays disabled tillI close the computer, but when I restart the computer ip protection is again enabled.How can I make that ip protection stays disabled ? exile360 Posted September 18, 2009 ID:128973 Share Posted September 18, 2009 Greetings and welcome .It's likely that the reason it is staying turned off on your laptop is because the laptop isn't doing a full restart, but a quick boot. Many laptops are configured this way by default in order to speed loading times and save power.To change the setting so that IP Protection is disabled permanently, even through a reboot, please take a look at this post.
