PC downloading data ... but what and from where?

Hi MBAM Team

Noticed a new file in my TEMP directory called "BIT21F.tmp" ... which has co-incided with continuous downloading of I don't know what, from I don't know where. Tried using Live Messenger after about 10 months however FileHippo advised that my version was well out-dated so I downloaded the updated version (but I did use the outdated one first ... well logged on but did not send/receive messages) though this may be a coincidence?

Even though I have deleted this file it keeps reappearing.

No problems reported by MBAM, Norton 360 or Spybot SD.

Apologies to ALL ... I probably jumped the gun WAY too early on this "problem"!

The downloading ceased and I subsequently checked the file properties and it was indeed a Microsoft Windows Live Installer program, although strangely it does have a ".TMP" file extension.

Another "new" file I noticed running at the same time was infocard.exe which is related to Windows Card Space ... Microsoft NET v3.0, athough I have no idea what it does.

:P SORRY again, but I've been gunshy since my encounter with the Chinese audio and downloader bug late last year although my system security is beefed up greatly since then.
