rjdougan #1 Posted August 12 Getting false positive on this domain (whteis5g.info) only when scam protection is enabled. I have run through https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/ and https://www.virustotal.com/ both come back clean. Please whitelist, thank you. Share this post Link to post
Porthos #2 Posted August 12 (edited) The browser extension blocks all .info sites by default. It will have to be whitelisted. @rakka Edited August 12 by Porthos Share this post Link to post
gonzo #3 Posted August 12 Added to whitelist. Please give it an hour to propagate. Thanks! Share this post Link to post
rjdougan #4 Posted August 13 Site is still showing blocked. FYI - I had a typo on the domain name on my request. The correct spelling is whatis5g.info. Please white-list this domain. Thank you Share this post Link to post
1PW #5 Posted August 13 Although the URL may be clean, and whitelisted, its IP address (shared by others) may be problematic: https://hosts-file.net/default.asp?s=75.98.175.126 Share this post Link to post
John L. Galt #6 Posted August 13 (edited) That raises an interesting question (and if this has been covered before, my apologies): If I were to set that site as an exception, would the local exception be based upon domain or IP address? Because I would definitely not mind the single domain (full domain if possible) whitelisted, but obviously, I don't want the IP address excepted, only that one domain. Edited August 13 by John L. leo3487 #7 Posted August 14 Browser extension (as the block at this thread) only can exclude domains, no IP And if ask for the program MB Antimalware, you should exclude by domain. Exclude IP will allow you access to the culprit malicious site Share this post Link to post
