Thank you for the support tool report. I notice that Malwarebytes for Windows was just installed on August 1, and is in Trial mode. The trial mode has premium protections on for 2 weeks. That is the term length, after which it goes into free mode, unless you get a premium subscription. The Malwarebytes scan run on August 2 had scanned 260143 objects and detected no active malware. That is a fine result. It appears also that Adwcleaner was run on August 2 and it found no adwares. What is it that you suspect ? I need more simple explanation of what you wrote in the first post, the first paragraph. This pc has Microsoft Windows Defender as the active, resident antivirus. I would urge you to make time, and to do one very special scan with Windows Defender. Windows 10 has the Microsoft Windows Defender which can run the Windows Defender Offline scan. Windows Defender Offline in Windows 10 can be run directly from within Windows, without having to create bootable media. Click the Windows Start menu button on the Taskbar, select Settings icon. Then choose Update and Security. Then look on the right hand side and click on Windows Defender. Then, scroll all the way down on the scroll bar, down to where you see "Windows Defender Offline" Click on the button Scan Offline to start the process and let it scan the system. Keep in mind that the design and what is scanned by Windows Defender is a whole different design from Malwarebytes. But do let me know how this scan goes and what the result is. NOTE: Please clarify what it is you suspect, the what, when and how of what you are needing help with. Just keep me advised at each step as we go along.
