Can I move a premium license to a new device?

Recommended Posts

The motherboard of one of my computers is busted and it was using Malwarebytes premium. Would I be able to transfer the premium license to another computer?

No, the computer with the dead motherboard won't turn on at all.

IF the device where you had the old install is not working...... then do this license de-activation online of the Malwarebytes MyAccount web portal.

Recall the original Email address you used on the original license purchase.

That same email is what you should use to login to Malwarebytes MyAccount.

If you have misplaced or do not have the password for that login, use the blue "Forgot password" link.

Keep in mind that the Email has to be valid and active.

If you manage to get in there, The Subscriptions tab lists your Malwarebytes purchases and corresponding license keys.

You can Deactivate the license on that portal.

Then later on, you can do a new install on new machine and then a new activation of Premium license.
