Hi,

My name is Maurice. I will be helping and guiding you, going forward on this case.

Do one Windows Restart.   Then watch the system, waiting about five minutes.   Is there any movement of any sort about that new Malwarebytes install ?

Also the compatibility mode is set for the exe.

@Biovelas

Find the Malwarebytes icon on your desktop
and right click on it with your mouse > select "Properties" > then click on the "Compatibility" tab.

Make sure that the box beside "run this program in compatibility mode for..." is left blank.
Click OK when done.

Let me know when this is accomplished.  we will do more.

Hello Biovelas.

Do not do any thing else about compatibility.    Malwarebytes for Windows does not need any tweak for any compatibility.

I would urge a clean new install of Malwarebytes for Windows.  Be SURE you first do a Windows Restart  prior to any thing else.

Please try uninstalling and reinstalling Malwarebytes for Windows using our Support tool. Let me know if that clears up the issue or not.

Uninstall and reinstall using the Malwarebytes Support Tool
https://support.malwarebytes.com/docs/DOC-2674

Let me know the result.   Let me know if now you can start normally the Malwarebytes for Windows.
