Preinstalled Programs Question

Same issue with Preinstalled software. I let it Quarantine Preinstalled.WildTangentGamesBundle.

Deleted it and restarted system, only to find out it had removed my Hoyle Card Games desktop icon, but not the program.

I had to reinstall it just to get the icon back, it's an old program from 2008 by Encore, not Wild Tangent

I re-ran the Adware Cleaner 7.4.0, it still shows Preinstalled.WildTangentGamesBundle.

I'd rather not have to re-install the program again

If you have quarantined a detection that you want back, you can also simply use the restore feature, see here: https://support.malwarebytes.com/docs/DOC-3328

It was originally quarantined, I didn't know exactly what it was, so I removed it.

It was after the restart of the removal, I discovered that that the desktop icon for Hoyle Card Games had been removed, but not the program itself.

I re-installed the Card Games program, because I couldn't get the icon back, but the program ran by selecting it in the Windows Start Menu

It is a bundled CD from Encore, 2012, the Title of CD is: Hoyle Card Puzzle & Board Games

 

It has three programs on the CD, Hoyle Card Games, Hoyle Puzzle & Board Games and Rec Room

It did not remove the Hoyle Puzzle & Board Games desktop icon
