I usually get a message (several times a day) that "Malware quarantined 1 threat. No further action is required".  I'm thinking that it happens each time I launch Chrome.  I do a complete scan and find nothing.  I've attached a clip from my quarantined folder for you to see.  Is there something in Chrome that is initiating this?

Those three different Chrome extensions: Search Extension by Ask, Maps and Directions, and Search Encrypt. All three are adware.

The reason they keep popping up probably has to do with Chrome Sync, so Chrome is constantly re-syncing those extensions back onto your Mac when they get removed. Chrome has become a bit of a pain in the butt lately with the removal of extensions, so it's probably easiest to turn off real-time protection in Malwarebytes, quit and relaunch Chrome, and then manually remove those extensions from Chrome.

To do that, open Chrome and choose Extensions from the Window menu. In the page that opens, find each of these extensions and click the Remove button for each one.

Once that has been done, you can safely turn real-time protection back on in Malwarebytes.
