Adwcleaner detects threat but wont remove it.

I tried this from an older post but it didnt work: "

Then I need you to go to >> Google Sync << and sign into your account.
Scroll down until you see the “reset sync” button and click on the button
At the prompt click on “Ok”.

Then, rescan + remove what have been found, and relaunch Chrome. It should be better now." No idea why adwcleaner is unable to remove it.

The Sync settings are save on the Chrome cloud.

You must re Sync to remove it. This is one of the Drawbacks.
