Recommended Posts

this also happened on windows 10 version 1803 and it still happening on both windows version 1809 and windows version1903 . not sure what is this about but my internet connection is OK here

>SmartScreen can’t be reached right now

Check your internet connection. Windows Dedender SmartScreen is unreachable and can’t help you decide if this app is ok to run.

Publisher: Malwarebytes Corporation
App: mb3-setup-consumer-3.8.3.2965-1.0.613-1.0.11384

Windows security is also blocking other app from running not just MBv3 . :)

This specific symptom along with the posted error message confirms the issue is being caused by something related directly to your PC, your network, your ISP, or the Microsoft Windows Defender SmartScreen service.

Moving this to General Windows PC Help, but getting some log files uploaded would help our community assist in discovering what's going on.

GT-truth.

On the face of it, Windows Smartscreen is having some sort of glitch.

Do you see the "RUN" button.   Click on that.  The plan is to have the system Go ahead anyway to proceed running mb3 setup.

hi .

yes I see the button but I wonder why this also for MB support tool ? so its not a problem on my system right ?

OK I will click on run and to install the latest version of Malwarebytes . anyway :) thanks

The "reputation" check by Smartscreen can be ( and in this case) is a false flagging.

Use RUN   or Run anyway   ( if you see that).

I’m not sure if SmartScareen has something to do with caching because I’ve been seen some entries in the frst log for this . and I have now to install MBv3 without smart screen is to pop-ups .

this issue is now fixed with the help of @AlexSmith so thank to you ! :)

good to know this information about the false flagging by smart screen . and thanks also to you @Maurice Naggar for helpful information . :)
