License issue and login error on My Account

Recommended Posts

I have the same situation which start after updating to the latest client. Says I have too many devices activated which isn't true as the license I have is for 3 PC's. Then when i try to go "Deactive other devices" it brings me to a login page that says "Oops, something went wrong. Please contact our support".

I also encountered this exact same problem after updating.

I would encourage you, if you have not already done so, to create a Help Ticket with Support.   This forum can only provide you generic type help.

Please go to this link   https://support.malwarebytes.com/community/contactsupport/pages/home-support

Provide the detail and submit the ticket.

Do scroll down to the section “Create Ticket”.

Provide all the detail  , including the license keys  and the name  & information about the seller, and purchase date.

Thanks for the recommendation. Just wanted to see if it was a known issue, but sounds like it's isolated or a few people. I have created a ticket, but haven't heard back yet.

you will need ot register on the my.malwarebyte.com site and add your key information, after about 5 mins the manage devices part sould populate and you can deactivate from there.

what i saw (and might not be the same for you) but the device mine was registered to was the same pc i am on and showed the computer name, but in client settings->account details it shows device name desktop-******  that does not match whats on record and preventing the key from working

I tried before and couldn't register before. Support hasn't gotten back to me and it's been a few days already.
