Firewall Control- Need to Allow

Hi everyone, I have been using Windows Control Firewall software for a few months and I had no issues allowing or disallowing connections. But this one is beyond me. I installed an app on Android and Windows to create full backups of my Android on a specific drive, and the app in Android simply won't connect to create the backup at the chosen locationon my PC unless I disable firewall completely. I would like not to have to disable the firewall and allow whatever file is responsible, but it is not the obvious backup software executable that is responsible. How can I find what file is responsible and allow it? I suspect a Windows file is responsible but how can I find which one?
