Old Android

I just tried to install Malwarebytes from the Google play store on an old Galaxy S3 mini, Android 4.1.2.

Edit - it's this one that I'm posting from.

I got a 'device not supported' message.

Are there any official options to get a MB scan of this old device?

Hi @nukecad,

I heard rumor that there may be an older version on the Samsung store that is no longer supported.  Sorry, that's the best answer I have.

I'll see if I can find an old version in the Samsung store. (or maybe an old apk somewhere although I don't like that option much).

I seem to recall putting MB on that phone about 6 or 9 months back with no problem, but the user uninstalled it.
Guess a version change (or Google) has decided it's now too old.

I couldn't find anything useful in the Samsung store, but I found old Malwarebytes apk's (even back to 2.00.3.9000) on a fairly well trusted mirror site.

I had to go back to 3.2 to get a version that works with this old phone.
