I’ve been gotten an error message when I perform up the first custom scan with all scan option are checked-marks on this device . first time I’ve seen this error .

Custom Scan Option

A rootkit scan requires the entire system drive to be selected for scanning .
Please update the area of the system you want to scan to includ the entire system drive or disable rootkit scanning for this scan.

why this error is to pop-up and why should to disable it . is this a problem with custom scan feature or something else ?

Drive "C:" is usually the "System Drive" and it is not logical to perform a RootKit scan and exclude the "C:" drive.
