Recently more frequent PUP and Trojan notices.

Version:  3.7.1.2839

About 2-3 weeks ago, I started getting notices in the mornings (my daily scan is set for about 2:18 AM) of 2-42 "caught and quarantined files".  Mostly PUPs and a few Trojans found and for those, the website was blocked.  I'm old enough to where most things "computer" cause me angst!  I'm a Mechanical not a Computer engineer.

I noticed that I've gotten reports of the same specific number (42) threats caught.  I typically have just deleted them but although I can't copy or remember the long extensions, I noticed a similarity including the 4th and 5th lines down where the Action is shown as "Replaced" rather than Quarantined.  If deleting the caught files is supposed to delete them from my computer, are (any)(many)(all) of them being caught over and over??  I do realize they only have to have one letter or number changed to be different.  I also noticed that several Trojans blocked have the same IP address:  24.119.116.230, Port 3389.

I've gotten increasingly suspect of unsolicited emails, particularly ones with misspelled words or poor grammar.  I just delete them without opening them.

My Questions:  What is the best way for me to deal with these?  Do these come in an occasional "wave" and will subside in a while?

I have not yet downloaded the Support add-on.  Does it do so simply by clicking on the link?

Where do I check to verify my (3) included devices?  I had a contract helper that occasionally did some typing for me but who is no longer involved.  Can I add my iPhone in lieu of that one?
